Didn't Pelfrey just got drafted and is pretty far down in the minors. A stud, don't get me wrong but the Mets would have to be in bigtime trouble (which they might be) to let him pitch this year. If you're going to include Pelfrey you should consider Pawelek then too.

Pelfrey already got promoted to AA and had 2 studly starts and 1 not studly start. he has been pitching great and could be up in september for sure. i was doing my rankings for career not season

Pelfrey will be up by July the latest, he's major league ready and the Mets need him with the back of their rotation falling apart.

Oh, I gottcha. I like Bailey on that list career wise (he's only 19) then too. But I'd rather have Joel Zumaya and Hayden Penn as major league ready pitchers more than I do some guys on the list (Floyd being 1).

I can defiantly see Pelfrey up there, I'd easily take him over Gavin Floyd.

another guy to keep an eye on is adam miller. i remember he was a top prospect before he got some kind of major surgery but he is back and pitching great. i remember he throws a great pitch, a slider i believe
