Totally Revamped Team - How'd I do? WHIR!

Here's my roster as of today. I've made about a million transactions thusfar, but I think I'm finally happy with my team. (We have no bench, everyone plays, standard 5x5, not keeper)

CI - Nick Johnson
MI - Vizquel
OF - Ibanez
OF - Vladimir
OF - Mench
OF - Soriano
OF - Dunn
UTIL - Brandon Phillips
UTIL - Uggla
DL - Alou (Will drop Uggla when he's back)

P - Ervin Santana
P - Fuentes
P - Benson
P - Koronka
P - Lilly
P - Otsuka
P - K-Rod
P - Sabathia
P - Chacon
P - Duaner Sanchez
DL - Ponson
DL - Bartolo Colon

My main concern is what to do with my pitching when Colon and Pnson are back. I've been thinking about possibly trying to package Colon with Giles for a trade. Anybody got any ideas who to drop when they're back or maybe what trade to make? Thanks!

We have an 11 league team. I'm currently 2nd with 75.5 Pts.

Offense looks solid with a good combo of avg, speed, and power in your outfield...
SP isn't bad, but will be better once Ponson and Colon get back...If it were my team, i'd MAYBE drop Sanchez (you're not getting pts. for holds, are you?) and Benson (his starts seem to be all or nothing)...Good luck!

Yeah, Sanchez is defintely gonna have to go when one of the others gets back. Unless of course, Wagner goes on the DL and I need the Saves from Sanchez.

I'd definitely work on upgrading your pitching somewhat. It may be a wise choice to take a flier on someone like Roger Clemens -- this is probably the cheapest he'll be between now and his eventual return.

Clemens has been on a team since the draft. They're just letting him sit there and fill up a roster spot. So, I'm pretty sure they're not gonna let him go.

As far as pitching goes, is it just weak because of the guys being on the DL or do I need to make a bigger change?

I think you need to make a bigger change. Colon wasn't exactly setting the world on fire before his DL stint. He may bounce back some -- but isn't anything you want to rely on. Ponson will have some good starts, but there will be inconsistency there. It would be nice to land a proven starter. Going after some players like Vazquez, Haren or DDavis may be a smart idea, too.
