Glad I did keep a hold of him all year...the second half surge for him seems to be starting... B-)

Now lets just hope Boston drops any trade talks about him and lets him play some ball...

What 2nd half surge???.....Look at these splits....pre and post All Star game, career:

Pre: 665 G, 430 R, 53 HR, 283 RBI, 123 SB, .280 AVG
Post: 541 G, 371 R, 43 HR, 226 RBI, 111 SB, .290 AVG

This whole Damon 2nd half stud rep is a myth!! Besides which, he's DUMB AS A ROCK!! :-P

I think he did have a big 2nd half in 2000, however his overall stats don't support him being a 2nd half stud. Myth!
