Please. This is all the papers working up something from nothing. Gimpy would cost too much in salary and prospects, is a major injury waiting to happen and the Yanks simply do not need him. They need pitching. Sheff will be back in a couple of weeks and te Yanks will make due in the other OF/DH slot with a combo of Bernie/Crosby/Which way do I go Cabrera and/or a stop gap acquisition like a Craig Wilson if he can be had on the the cheap.

Not that anything is beyond the utter stupidity of Cashman, but tradign for an OF stick when you need pitching is too idiotic...even for him.
