thanks for the advice guys. i am in a very tight race in wins so I really want to start franklin since he did well against the a's at home. Im considering wolf and I think that I will start him. He did well at cincy this year. I am a bit concerned about the red hot reds and his last pitch count, 136
The only two I would question is Franklin and Wolf...but I would start them all...

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.

Ya gotta start Wolf for the k"s alone. Cin is the worst K team in the bigs. Wolf will beat Cincy in Cincy. I say 7ip 4h 2bb 10k. and a Win.
Look at it this way. The Phillies Offense is slightly better than Cincy in the same ballpark, and he is going against Dempster who is 0-3 in starts at home with a 7.16 era 1.84 ratio. This late in the season you have to grab every win and K. If he does get Lit. (doubtful) the ERA/WHIP hit won't hurt that bad.
I wouldn't be so worried about wolf if he hadn't thrown 136 pitches. Earlier this year, he only allowed a home run to dunn in the first inning and allowed 3 hits in 7 innings, I think and got the win. Going up against dempster just increases his chances of getting good run support, especially from abreu and thome. I haven't started Franklin in a long time and I think it would be a good idea to start him since he's hot and throwin at pitcher friendly safeco. My only concern there is that he gives up way too many long balls, and all the rangers really have on that club are homerun hitters. I think I will still start him though since he dominated oakland. On a sidenote, how bout those A's! I think they're starting to hit. Tejada got a blast and Hatteberg responded well to that contract.
Well, it looks like you were right in being worried about Wolf, and Franklyn's not looking too hot right now either...let's hope for some better starts from the rest of your guys...I have a lot of them myself!
No one's voiced concern over Johan VS Baltimore so I will. I think Baltimore's offense is so underrated. I would have went against starting Wolf and Franklin too since they're pitching in hitters havens. But you guys already know the results by now. Baltimore may hurt an unsettled Johan.
