and the home team is winning, if the game gets called, it is official? Presumably, the home team could forfit their remaining outs in the 5th, ending the inning and making the game official. Does anyone know if this is the case?
note: the Phillies/Mets game is currently delayed in the bottom of the 5th with the Phils (the home team) up by two and batting.

Fortunately the Phils game is also official.

Same thing happened earlier in the season when ChiSox won the rain shortened home game while only batting for 4 innings.
