I just made a trade: Kenji Johjima, Chris Shelton, and Tom Gordon for:
Michael Young, Eric Gagne, and Jorge Posada.

Now I'm a little weak on closers because of the trade, but I'm currently in first because of Gordon. There are also some interesting players available on the FA list:

Corey Hamels, Francisco Liriano, Justin Verlander, Noah Lowry, Joe Blanton, and Doug Davis.

I'm considering on who to drop for one of these guys, and who would be the best option to pick up.

Any suggestions or advice on my question or for my team would be greatly appreciated.

yeah pick up Hamels and I would also maybe drop Barajas for McCann or Estrada possibly....maybe even drop Chad Cordero for another closer....or atleast try to trade him for a better one, he isnt doing to much in DC so far this year

Your offense is very nice, but your SP will not hold up. Do you only have 2 reserve spots? First, I would drop Kenny Rogers for Lowry. He's more proven than the others and pitches in a good park. I'd probably get rid of Millwood for Davis or Hamel. Davis started off terribly last year as well.

Lowry stands out to me as the guy I'd go out and get.

I really like the trade.
I wish there were FA pitchers on my WW like that. I would definitely pick up Lowry first. Then Hamels, then Liriano.
I would drop Millwood/Santana/Rogers in that order.

As mentioned above, Santana for Hamels, Millwood for Lowry.

Thanks for the help guys! I decided to drop Milwood and Santana for Lowry and Hamels. I think Rogers is doing is well lately with the hot tigers, so I'll think to hold on to him and make a trade to pick up Liriano.

Anyone else?

I would definitely go after Lowry
