Aaron Rowand left Thursday night's game in the first inning with facial lacerations.
Rowand was hurt crashing into the center-field wall while robbing Xavier Nady of extra bases. He's day-to-day. May. 11 - 8:03 pm et

Yahoo games notes under the box score says it was a facial laceration. Anyone see how bad it was? I'd hate to be losing Rowand for more than a few days. (Plus, you know, I hope the guy is okay.)

Posada was only out for a few days after breaking his nose. Hopefully he can avoid the DL.

Rowand was hurt crashing into the center-field wall while robbing Xavier Nady of extra bases. The broken nose will probably cause him to miss a few days, but a DL stint likely will be avoided. Shane Victorino will replace him in center field.

worst thing that can happen to a fantasy league team:

a player has 3 rbis robbed from him and another player that's been hot winds up breaking his nose.

Ugh.

It was a great play (I'm a Phils fan, too), just frustrating from a fantasy view point :-)
