My team is fading fast...please help!

MY team used to be in 3rd, now is in 5th, and after an 8-2 drubbing this week may be in 7th out of 12 teams. Any advice on moves I could make to at least make the playoffs? thanks a lot.

maybe trade schilling for two good pitchers

first thing is to see anout getting a first baseman, there are tons better that tex out there and get a backup for edmonds in the outfield. You need to shed some pitching for some SOLID hitting in a big way.
