How is this guy only 25--it seems like he's been around forever. At any rate, after his early season injury, Sabathia seems to have slipped off the radar a bit. However, he's entering his prime years, pitches for (what should be) a great team, has good stuff, and appears to be getting better each year. Is he a good candidate to take the next step to stardom this year and maybe a sleeper Cy candidate?
Thoughts?

Not sure about Cy this year but I was pretty high on him last year and also this year as one of my main pitcher sleepers.
He was lights out second half 05, often indicative of a breakout for young pitchers. I think 3.50 ERA with a dozen or so Ws with a decent K rate is easily achievable as long as he stays healthy.

I like CC Sabathia, one of these years he will be in the Cy Young running but I dont think it will be this year. He is a bit inconsistent if I believe.

ok, ok...
you mean the Consummate Consumer SoFatthea? He may only be 25 now, but he's so fat that every time he turns around, he's another year older. His stride makes it hard for hitters to track the ball, if only because he makes the earth move under their feet. CC's so fat, the batter tells HIM to stop crowding the plate. even when batters do hit the ball off of CC, it takes them a half-hour to get around him.
