Vidro update...

Postby bryan1327 » Sun Jul 27, 2003 2:27 pm

Not looking all to good....

Pulled this from the Sporting News...

TheMontreal Gazetteis reporting Vidro (knee) will be out at least three to four more days and might have to go on the DL. The second baseman said the knee hurts quite badly and he is unable to play through it.
Fantasy Spin: It appears a trip to the DL is expected, so getting him out of the lineup is ideal unless he so far and away better than any replacement middle infielder you have.

Better find some one if you can...I just pulled B Roberts off the wire a bit ago!!...

Dammit, I just overpaid for him because no one like Giles (including me). Grr...
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

yeah, I'm going through the same thing as I'm sure are many others. Roberto Alomar actually seems to be the best option in my league, so here's hoping Vidro avoids the DL.

I don't think there are any good options in my league. Maybe Polanco, but he just got hurt today too.

Polanco's back in the lineup today, so hopefully that means he's alright. I picked him up yesterday as my Vidro insurance.
