Where is the love for this guy? I know it's early, but as an owner I am very encouraged by what I have seen this year. A great game against the Sox a while ago and now another against Seattle. Is he finally ready to dominate the bigs? Thoughts?
i think hes great. i wish i would have trusted my instincts and picked him up over kenny rogers . but people are gonna say hes inconsistant but i say he is one scary lefty.
i'm having trouble imagining the league that would even leave him on the WW.
i passed on all the "big boys" of starting pitching this year, opting for the kazmirs, vazquezs, and cliff lees, etc. these guys predictably fell into the late middle-rounds of my mixed-league 12-team, and i was on 'em like white on rice.
kazmir is still developing. i think his 2nd half will be ferocious.
edit: his biggest issue has been hubris! he sometimes appears to lose focus in a game, getting too cute or too heat-reliant. watch him grow up this season and reach a good balance point.

it's a 10 team 5x5 with only 2 bench spots, so if a guy is struggling you cant always stash him away
He's got great stuff and great #s.... SInce last years all star break and up to this season so far, he's one of the elite starters in the league.... WIsh the whip was a little lower, but in every other category, he's gold.
Considering that he plays for a weak team that's had some DL issies, and he's in a tough division, having 5 wins at this point is amazing.
