Cleveland has to be reeling right now.

To be out slugged by the AAA Royals, that has to hurt. I'm surprised they could do it w/ out their best hitter in Teahen though. ;-7

When you're making a team like the Royals look good....there's no joy in Mudville.

I was thinking about the Royals today too. Why exactly would they put McDougal back into the closers role? Burgioux has been solid in relation to Royals closers of the past and went through the meat of the Indians lineup only giving up 1 hit with 2K's. Will McDougal really be better than what Amborse has been so far this year?

Well MacDougal has more experience and had a pretty solid year last year. I would like for him to move back into the closers role as long as he proves he is healthy and can get guys out. Burgos had a sketchy day today (blown save + win) and a sketchy day yesterday as well, so he hasn't been completely lights out. I do like Burgos and believe he is our closer of the future but he is still very young and inconsistant. If MacDougal proves to be too dinged up and inconsistant when he comes back I have no problem leaving Burgos in as closer but if MacDougal comes back and performs like last year then I would like for him to get his spot back and give Burgos some more time in less pressure situations as the set-up guy.

Anyway, not that big of a deal, I think they both can get the job done!

All joking aside the Royals didn't have Sweeney or Sanders the whole series.

I have faith that the Royals will participate in the World Series...
