It's a whole lot better than those Spiderman bases.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I can imagine watching sportscenter or baseball tonight, giggling like a madman.
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

I think it's a nice gesture, especially having known women to go through it.
Heck, my G/F loves pink and I've been trying to get her into baseball. Maybe I'll try and get one of the bats when they auction them afterwards.
And I too would be curious of a list of players who will use them, but I read that they're taking orders until Thursday, so we may not know until the weekend.

That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. That would almost ease the pain of having him break the record.

Not to sound like a smart alek, but do you really believe there are people out there who don't know breast cancer exists?
I don't mind all the special stuff that MLB does for breast cancer, in fact I've donated to that cause, however, I don't believe pink bats is the brightest of ideas, and seriously doubt that a male major league ballplayer swinging a pink bat will teach anyone anything about breast cancer. Just my opinion though.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I think its a great way to raise money for a great cause.
I love the idea of a pink bat. I wish Sheffield wasn't on the Dl, id love to see him wagging a pink bat.
