How to get steals

First year here and i just took over first, no thanks to the steals dept. I have tried to trade and have made some ww pickups to bolster my horrible steals stats. It was my first year and i forgot to draft for steals. I picked up Castillo but just dumped him, seems to be hurt. I just got Barfield and Patterson. No one will trade me steals, can't blame them. Suggestions for the waiver wire?

I've been keeping my eye on Dave Roberts in my league. As I need steals as well.

I have been watching dave roberts but i always considered him a great journeyman kind of player but those steals are enticing. I just can't get myself to drop someone for him
