I play a 8 team h2h league, we play 10x10.
(R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, E, AVG, OBP, W, SV, H, ER, BB, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K/BB)

I think i've done a good job overall working the wire (willingham, a-ram, bonds) and FA also traded schill for j. Santana :-)

C Willingham
1b Delgado
2b Utley
3b Chavez
ss jeter
if n.johnson
of c. tracy
of vladdy
of crawford
util a. jones
bn bonds, a-ram, figgins

sp Pedro, j.santana, kazmir, lowrey
rp coffey
cl ryan, izzy, h street, jenks

dl b. roberts, j. patterson

i look at it and think i have a hell of a team but i'm consistantly in the middle in all catagories vs all players but i do hold first place by a slim margin. what do you think? where am i weak? am i going all the way?

That looks like a really good team to me, how many are in your league?

seems like you are a little thin in the SP department. And I don't see the use in having so many bench hitters. Most hitters play everyday. If you have weekly lineup changes, then I understand there isn't as much need for bench starters, but it would still be nice to have some SPs stashed away for taking advantage of 2 start weeks.

I would try to move some of those bench hitters for pitchers.

Your offense looks well built. I think you should think about dealing extra offensive players to strengthen your Starting Pitching. Deal A. Ramirez or Bonds for a solid starter or 2. Make sure its for an ace or a top 2 starter cuz Lowry isn't good enough right now.

Other than that, you look good. You need more stolen bases here and there but Crawford and Figgy will do the job you need to get done.

if you look at scoring catagories we get points for h, er, bb and of course era and whip. so i go quality over quanity, i usually punt on wins and k's but can win the other 8 cat's.

First of all, 10x10, dang... Ok, about your team- Figgins is on your bench which leaves you thin at steals, you are probably thin even with him in. As previously mentioned, you are thin at SP. I would look long and hard at trading Figgins for starting pitching, trading crawford for a better hitter (HR, RBI, AVG) and punting steals. Of course the often sought after 2 for 1+scrub deals would be what you would be after. I wouldn't mind moving towards the top in most cats even if it meant definately losing steals. Hell, I should take my own advice, Chone is killing me, lol.

Do it or not, it's up to you but it's a thought.
