Hey dude...Im going through this with Junior prom this Saturday actually. I got a cool date, it should be fun. Just be confident...If you are friends with a girl and they dont have a date, they will 99% of the time say yes. They dont want to be the ones without a date. Ask her soon too...that date is coming up quick. Also, its not a bad idea to hang out with her...even though my date and i dont hang out much, i took her to the movies last week. I gotta disagree with the "Regret it forever" comment here. I missed my senior prom to go to a baseball game and it was awesome. (Check out my article about the Arizona game in the Articles section for details). Every once in awhile, I think "I wonder what it would have been like if I went?". And then I think of the walkoff walk that I witnessed and the pitcher actually hitting the baseball with his glove in the middle of the game. So, unless you're going to a baseball game, then I agree with Zito here. Go or you'll regret it. But if you're going to a baseball game, hope that it's an awesome walkoff game or something absolutely insane happens (or both), and you won't regret it.

Just relax, prom is only fun if you're not worried about looking stupid. Just enjoy the moment, it's a memory you'll carry with you for the rest of your life. Even if you dont have a date you should still go, i danced with my date for a few songs and started grinding it up with some other girls for the rest of the night. If you need a date make your move, girls make plans fast and they want a date in it, so if you ask nicely they'll say yes. Good luck, enjoy, and protection is a must.
