Latino ages- for the most part, but every now and then there will be another one. Pie is definitely no older than 21.
Pie's ceiling is WAY higher than Ethier's, but Pie also has a much better chance of flaming out. He's the typical toolsy prospect, who is either boom or bust. They did put up similar numbers last year, but Ethier was three years older.
To put it another way, Ethier is more patient, and doesn't have the tools that Pie has, power/speed potential, but is a safer bet to become a 15/15 or 20/20 guy than Pie. Pie could be a 40/40 guy or he could end up striking out 100 times in his first 300 at bats and never seen from again.
