Felt like busting out the old Crue. Ah, nostalgia.

This CD's been out for a few weeks, but I just picked it up:

The Cunninlynguists - A Piece of Strange

This guys are a very underrated hip hop grop, their first two albums were both great, but this release is above and beyong either of them. My favorite hip hop album of the year so far.

Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

Steel Pulse is awesome

I had never heard of them, until one day me and my roomate were sitting at the bar by our apartment and a mutual friend came in, this is the exchange that followed

"Look at these 2 deadbeats"
"Get Bent"
"You guys wanna go to a concert?
"Who?"
"Steel Pulse"
"When?
"5 Minutes"
"Lets do it"

Went to the show, came out of my dope smoking retirement, blazed enough to make Bob Marley cringe and generally had a kickass time. Been a fan ever since.

And a lot of country radio. I listen to country music religiously during the summer. It just seems really fitting to me.
