I've always been a fan of Wisconsin, whether it be Milwaukee or Madison. All the beer, cheese, and bratwurst you could ever want. Proximity to some great outdoor rec. Not to mention you'd be a drive away from three MLB teams (Brewers, Cubs, White Sox). If you're used to the southern climate the winters may get you down, but they're really not THAT bad.
I'm also inherently biased towards the upper midwest. Hey, its not like I'm recommending Iowa or anything.

dont they have alot of fat women there
...becasue they sure do here in Michigan
There's fat people everywhere these days. I haven't done a study on fat women per capita or anything so I don't know. I'm also married so, the skinny woman factor isn't real high on my list anyway.

I love it here. I definitely reccoment checking it out if you want to live at the beach.
is virgina beach a nice community? i was looking to by some investment property there.
its trashy
Its actually pretty nice. Property values have soared in the past few years, but there is some danger in investing in property right now b/c one of the major bases in the city may be closed (BRAC wanted to close it and move the planes to Florida, but that isn't looking likely right now). If that happened, there could be a serious influx of homes on the market, driving prices down.

I doubt it stays that way. The munchies will change that.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Don't come to Ohio. Everyone is fat/ugly/uneducated or all of the above pretty much. Quick story went into Subway today to get a pizza sub. Theres 2 fat ugly chicks at the counter and one at the window. Between the 3 they probably weighed as much as a small whale not to mention the fact they all looked like they were severely beaten with an ugly stick. One of the chicks was missing both her front teeth. I payed with a 10 and the women giving me my change back actually asked me if the big silver ones (quarters) were the 25cent ones or not. Let's just say I have no desire to go back to Subway ever again.
Hmmm. If you are gonna go with California, which is definately a good pick, heres a couple cities to look out for.
Take a peak at Santa Barbara or Ventura county. Best weather in the US, active community, and Santa Barbara was named by Men's Journal to be the city with best women.
San Diego is good, if you are up for big city and expensive, for a smaller alternative try Malibu or Pismo.
As for out of Cali,
Boulder is a top choice, as is Phoenix, although the heat is probably just like the south. Arlington, VA and Virgina Beach are nice.
