Do any of you guys know of, have visited, or live nearby a place that you think would be nice to live? A place where you just said, hmm it would be really awesome to live there.
Boulder, Colorado seems like a great place to live, I go down there every summer to see some family members. It's great, right beside the mountains, and only 40 minutes out of Denver.

I like that one a lot. It would seem that area would have the perfect mix of nice mountains, skiing, college atmosphere blended with big city MLB town (Denver), I would think a low crime rate, hmm I will put central Colorado near the top of my early list...
I lived near SF when I was in the service, and loved it. Coolest city I've ever been in. But it's really expensive to live there. The other part of California I loved when I was out there was San Diego.
I lived in Norfolk, Virg., for six months. Also a nice place. Virginia Beach is cool.
Been in Massachusetts ever since I got out of the service (also grew up here). All of New England is nice. I like the New Hampshire seacoast and southern coastal Maine too.

High priorites would be a mid-sized city, close enough to drive to a couple MLB games a week, low crime, something different, a change of scenery from the deep south.
Beaches, mountains, all that sounds cool right off the top of my head. I'm not a big hunter. Or golfer. But I like the outdoors. Yet I really wouldn't want to live in the country.
If you can handle the cold, I really love New England. Been to a bunch of MLB cities and the only place I would really think about moving to was Baltimore or Chicago.
Seattle was a pretty nice area too but I think I'd want to live on the East Coast or Midwest.
But yeah, New England is really nice. I live in Newburyport and it's on the beach yet not too far from ski places. Also it's only a 45 minute drive to Boston. (Although it's tough to get tickets)
