Thanks for all the kind words, guys. The feelings are mutual, believe me.
It’s no secret that I’m a Football guy, but the Baseball Café has really helped me out a LOT. I didn’t know squat about baseball when I joined my league a couple of years ago, but with lots of help from the guys here I made it to the playoffs last year and got my money back.
This season, with NO picks in the first four rounds I drafted a team that started 2-0 (until I lost Derrek Lee), and now I’m back on track again thanks to the help I got in acquiring Todd Helton.
Without the Café I’d still be in the basement of that league, donating my entry fee every year and waiting to get smooshed once again. With the Café I’m a contender.

Congrats!
You're welcome there. Or you can just PM me with any questions. I'm reasonably well-versed on most everything football.
Yep! I very rarely miss a chance to vote. I took my daughter today and explained everything. I think tomorrow we'll have a vote to see which of her stuffed animals gets to be The Leader. She understood the idea of it, but it's a concept so I think she'll forget it by next week.
I told the women at the poll that they should have "Kid's Ballots" so the kids could vote on something. It'll teach them to vote early and (hopefully) get them interested in voting later on in life.
As for Governor candidates, I voted for None Of The Above. I'm not allowed to vote for party affiliates because I'm an Independent. I voted on local issues and some Board people today. I get to vote for Governor in November.

Interesting that you can't vote either way...Here (in N.C.) an Independant can vote in either primary...Just Republican/Democrats can't vote in the oppositions primary....
