If you're an ACTIVE owner and can't figure out why your team is not performing to your expectations, then this is the thread for you. Maybe others can point out a weakness(es) to your team that you may not have spotted otherwise.
I'd prefer that you post your team IF your team is in the bottom 3 (from 3rd worst to worst) of your league.
I'll start with my team in my own league that's in last place at the time of this posting.

Youre short on power, no? Ellis is stinking it up. Consider release? Dont expect Shelton to hit 50 HR. I think it will be in the 20's. Good job on getiing Peralta. He's good. Buehrle on the bench? Not a good idea. Looks like youre going with a "Closer" approach but in a 5 x 5 that is a risky strategy.
I'm gonna blame your outfield. With the exception of Gomes in April, Crawford and Sizemore have fallen completely short of expectations. Your infield seems solid, though I believe Peralta has not done much yet (correct?). I would say your glaring weakness would be the lack of an Ace. Smoltz is very good and Schmidt could be very good, but neither is a true shut-down, strike out pitcher. Your bullpen is phenomenal, and maybe you could move a closer along with a position player to snag yourself a top tier pitcher. Obviously, this is a huge maybe. While I'm at it, I may throw my own team up here. I'm currently in second to last, and every week I somehow blow it. Damn, I thought I had a good team. Please find flaws and propose solutions.
