Zambrano was diagnosed with a torn flexor muscle of the right elbow. Mets Medical Director Dr. David Altchek executed the procedures. Dr. Altchek removed bone spurs for Victor's elbow, repaired the torn tendon and preformed Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ligament.
