Looking more like 6 weeks than 3 weeks for Harden.

May 6 Mychael Urban, of Athletics.MLB.com, reports Oakland Athletics P Rich Harden (back) felt some soreness in his back after doing some rotational exercises to work out his back. The Athletics will give Harden several days rest and will not let him throw until he is pain free. Harden will not travel with the team this week when they square off with the Toronto Blue Jays in Canada.

I'll be overjoyed if it's ONLY six weeks. :-/

Harden actually looks to be progressing pretty fast. He's been playing long toss for the past 2 weeks and he'll throw off the mound for the first time on Monday.

He might play a simulated game today. From my understanding, as long as he's pain free on the mound, he'll be cleared to play.

Rotowire said June 1 a couple of weeks ago and that might actually be realistic.

Not so fast Mikhayl....

May 23 Rich Harden (P) Oak will throw off a mound today for the first time since he suffered his lower back injury, according to the Contra Costa Times. He has been out since April 27 with the injury. Harden is still at least a couple of weeks away from returning to the A's. ----Roto Time

Stupid conflicting reports. When in doubt, go with the more pessimistic one. I want my ace back!

They mentioned on Baseball Tonight last night that Harden was probably still 3 weeks away from returning. Could be good news for us Harden owners because these guys are almost alway wrong!!!

No, I believe it was Peter Gammons that said it. Morgan was no where to be seen.
