ok thanks for the inside information mr obivious. and maddux isnt going anywhere, not sure where you heard that from.

Yes he will keep his spot in the roatation if he keeps putting up solid starts.

If the Cubs fall out of it why keep the 40 year old Maddux? He's a FA after this year and they already are deep in SPs. Maybe you'll keep Maddux by signing him to a 5 year deal and give Dusty another stupid deal so he can abuse your pitchers. I actually like the Cubs but I wouldn't be surprised... ;-D

Marshall has been awesome this year and should keep his rotation spot. If he does keep it think of there staff when everyone is healthy. Zambrano Prior Wood MAddux and Marshall. Thats a good young staff with the exception of Maddux being young.

Assuming Prior and Wood come back and stay healthy, they have Wood, Prior, Zambrano, Maddux, and...... Marshall. He earned his starting spot over Rich Hill and Angel Guzman to start the year and he hasn't done anything to lose that spot. He'll be around all year...

I'm assuming you mean sell him after those starts? Neither of those 2 teams are exactly an offensive juggernaut. In fact, not too many National League teams are...

Being a Cub fan, I certainly hope he keeps up this pace all season.

Being realistic, he still has some improving to do before I'd call him a 'stud'.

I picked him up back in April for his start against FLA, and I've been riding him ever since. I've actually gotten 2 offers for him already from another Cub fan in my league, but with another quality outing or two, I can get more out of him.
