Sean P. Diddy Marshall Mathers stud SP??

Just kidding. But hey this kid is pitching lights out. He's averaging a run in his last 3 starts and his WHIP for the season is around 0.90

You guys think he can keep this up? Any chance he'll keep his job once Prior and his disabled list buddy Wood returns?

He faces some weak hitting teams in the near future but all their aces as his opponent. He might not be a great source of wins but he should produce, expect a slight increase in ERA & WHIP. But if he keeps pitching like he has been I think he's safely in the rotation till at least until/if Miller comes back and pitches well. Rich Hill didn't pitch great so I guess he's the odd man out when Prior and Wood come back as of right now unless Maddux is dealt.

Weak hitting teams or not, when you are consistently shutting them down, its pretty impressive. I reckon he'll be solid all year.

ok thanks for the inside information mr obivious. and maddux isnt going anywhere, not sure where you heard that from.

Yes he will keep his spot in the roatation if he keeps putting up solid starts.

Wow, somebody had a bowl of hate for breakfast this morning.

Marshall has given no sign that he wouldn't be able to keep up his solid perfomance all year. Unless he has a few major blowups, he's not going anywhere in that rotation, regardless of when Miller comes back.

And there is no way Maddux gets dealt this year. If anything, he is soldifying a reason to bring him back next year. Having 3 young, promising pitchers in the dugout to pick his brain is worth a ton itself.

I have a feeling the second time around hitters will get a better piece of him.

ERA: 3.12
DIPS: 3.91
BIPA: .179

He won't keep that bipa up (down).
