Vlad
Vernon Wells
Berkman
Magglio
Carlos Lee
Abreu
Lee is quietly putting together a nice second half and may start stealing a bit more. Wells is showing no signs of slowing down. Berkman is a traditional second half disappointment by his stats. Maggs is a second half phenom as is abreu. Vlad seems to be the biggest x-factor.
Any thoughts on the above who might separate themselves from the pack?

Mags - should have a great 2nd half, has been hot of late
Wells - continues to impress and i would have him higher than mags, but mags has the longer track record
Berkman - starting to heat up, should have a better 2nd than 1st. maybe the wrist is totally healed
Vlad - despite his solid return, back still scares me. hope i am wrong though
Abreu - as many of the phils, having only a solid if not disappointing season. should be solid for the rest of the year and has a chance to put up better numbers.
Lee - having a better year than i thought he was having but his avg is not enough to get him higher on the list, despite heading for a career year in hrs and rbis

wells- gotta go wit my boy here hitting in front of delgado? come on hes seeing fat fastballs more than anyone here and he hits them too
vlad- a near 40-40 wasnt a fluke this guy is the real deal
mag pipes- will the chi sox finally break through now that konerko is hitting?
abreu- ditto insert phillies for chi sox and burell for konerko
berkman- his fall off in power shows why speed-power guys can outrank him unless hes crushing the ball
.
.
.
lee- your hitting in front of a rejuvenated frank thomas and mag pipes and this is all you can put up? not a top 3 OF and MOST DEF last out of these 6

interesting perspective on berkman yanks 4ev, i think you're right. he just isn't driving the ball like last year and to establish himself as an equal to guys with less power but who are a threat to steal (abreu/beltran/etc), he needs to be putting up some serious power numbers.
it's amazing to me after looking at everyone's rankings and feedback how high everyone is on magglio, but rightfully so. even if you don't put too much stock into guy's pre/post break stats, maggs increase in output is hard to ignore.
also i think i would be correct to say that if wells had any sort of track record he would be the #1-2 or everyone's lists.....
