Rickey Henderson should get a bonus

I just noticed that Jose Reyes has 13 BB and 17 SO. That is much better than the 27/78 ratio he had last year. He's already half way to his number of walks from last year. If he can keep that ratio where it is he's going to have a huge year hitting at the top of that potent lineup.

Nah, don't give Ricky a bonus...let him play!

If they can roster Julio Franco they can roster Ricky and Ricky's delusional enough to believe he can still play every day. In fact, if you ask Ricky he would tell you, "Ricky Henderson believes that Ricky Henderson is still an elite baseball player." :-D

I saw Ricky play here in SD last year. I'm willing to bet that he can still get on base and steal some bases if he played.

I saw a quote somewhere that Rickey called up a GM somewhere acting as his own agent...

"Hello, this is Rickey calling on behalf of, Rickey."

It might just be me but I actually like hearing people speak about themselves in the third person. :D

It's even better when you do it to other people. They get all confused. :-D

Jerry: You said, "George likes spicy chicken."
George: No I didn't.
Elaine: Yes, you did. You said, "George likes spicy chicken."
Jerry: You're turning into Jimmy.
George: George is getting upset!
