The Braves announcers commented on this in today's game, saying that it took him about 130 AB last year before he got his first walk......







And it was an IBB!

So, anyone want to update their thoughts on him now? Something like an 8 game hit streak including a walk-off grand slam last night? BA is up around .250, and I'm pretty sure his only walk is the one IBB he had a couple days ago.

Anyhow, I don't expect him to continue on the pace he's been going the past two weeks, but he'll continue to be a very streaky hitter, and if you can bench bench him when he's doing a 1/40 thing, he should be a fine fantasy options. (31 RBI is nothing to sneeze at. )

This just shows what we mostly expected, he is a very streaky hitter right now in his career. He can be really on or off, though as I do have him in more leagues as of now ... I hope more hot streaks.

Jeff's looked really good the past few weeks, and not just that he's hitting the ball well. He's not swinging at horrible pitches anymore. He may not be drawing walks, but he's waiting longer for a pitch he can handle.
