Talk about needing some plate discipline. He seriously needs to be sent to AAA and learn to take a pitch.

Sounds about right for Jeff. Probably be at least another 113 until he gets that "elusive" walk too. :-B

Last year, when he got his first walk after so many ABs his parents celebrated like they just won the lottery. I heard also the dad started crying. :-D

Jeff has a bad stat line, he knows walks won't do anything so he swings for the fences. I think when he starts putting up stats closer to last year he'll relax, understand that walks are good and he does not HAVE TO swing, and thus will walk...a little.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Francoeur is looking a lot like the hitting version of Felix Hernandez. 1/2 season with a lot of hype the prior year and heading south this year in a BIG way so far.

Even Sorinao manages a walk every now and then. When you are less patient than Soriano, you have a problem.

If I were a pitcher I would not throw him a strike and make him hit a bad pitch. He hasn't shown any signs of taking a pitch.

And the worst part about Soriano is that he's a leadoff hitter...

What is Robinson thinking?

This story sounds familiar.. :-? ;-D

http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... coeur+walk

based on last year's pace, he might break his streak with an intentional walk in the next week or so..

Hope he faces Daniel Cabrera in interleague.
