As far as Burgos goes, he is still young and pretty raw. I wouldn't mind throwing him back into the setup role once MacDougal comes back and as long as Mac is for sure healthy. Give Burgos another year to succeed as a setup guy and look to move him to the closers roll next year or even later if MacDougal succeeds this year.
But yes, they will give the role back to MacDougal as long as he proves he is healthy and can get guys out when he returns!
remember brazoban last year? he was lights out as the closer first time around, then gagne came back from DL and took over closing again, then gagne got himself hurt and the dodgers wanted brazoban to close again. the second time around though, brazoban sucked, like 5+ era i think.
not sure if that'll happen to burgos, but wouldn't surprise me if macdougal sucked upon his return.

Yup.
Dick Kaegal, of KansasCity.Royals.MLB.com, reports Kansas City Royals RP Mike MacDougal (shoulder) is eyeing a mid-June return after playing catch for the second time Friday, April 28. When he does return, Royals manager Buddy Bell confirmed that MacDougal will return to the closer's role and P Ambiorix Burgos, who has been filling in for MacDougal, will most likely become his setup man.
If you're in a league with dummies, try to trade him. I just dropped him. He was on my bench for one of his 3 saves
