I don't own him and am to lazy to check but I believe he is hitting in front of Berkman so he has no need to steal, him and Biggio would need to flip flop for SB's to probably happen, IMO.
Exactly right. Biggio and Ensberg are hitting .310, Berkman .360. Running Taveras is a waste, even if he can steal a base, because there's always a guy in front of him and some serious longball behind. As long as Houston keeps mashing, Taveras isn't worth much.
