well since he's not gonna make the playoffs he's not gonna win the mvp.
and yes i know arod won the mvp with a last place team, but arod wasnt a dh. and with this increase of offensive production this year i dont see pronk beating anyone in any statistical category by much.

I admit I was a bit down on Hafner repeating his last years rate stats going into the season but the extra counting stats from playing every day made up for it enough that I still got him in 2 out of 4 leagues. At this point I would not trade him straight up for any other 2nd round pick in my league and I wouldn't trade him straight up for some of the 1st round picks.

Kind of early for that prediction, eh???
well you lost coco, milwood and riske. i dont know how anyone thinks a team that didnt make the playoffs last year, loses 3 major pieces of thier previous years team, then didnt make any improvments this year, expects to all of a sudden be a playoff team.

They gained overall in offense just by their existing players getting more experience. Milwood was a loss but not a huge one but their bullpen took a big hit.
Most people think the White Sox were as lucky as they were good last year and don't really believe they'll repeat their record, especially if the pitching regresses as much as most think it will. I think that division will go down to the wire again.
