What's up with this guy? Is he worth trying to pick up right now and dropping J. Vargas? When is he coming back?

I've heard late May, early June, all-star break...who knows. Baez is doing so well, there's really no rush.

But I'd definitely drop Vargas for Gagne.

Replying to WessWackos:

Drop Mike Gonzalez and wait on Gagne (pick him up).

Gagne will get his job back eventually.

I wouldn't be dropping Gonzalez for Gagne. There are still a lot of questions about Gagne. I have him on my DL and have heard he could be back in 3 to 4 weeks. Sounds a little quick to me but he should get his job back when he does come back. I am expecting the All-Star break and anything sooner is a bonus.

Kolb, Dotel, Faulke and Gagne.

They all have something in common. The Dodgers didn't buy Baez for no reason. They know Gange was done.

Hmmmm...I wouldn't say that. They'd love to have a healthy Gagne closing out games for them and they haven't given up on him yet. But they weren't about to go through another year like last year without a backup plan. Their bullpen last year cost them a chance at making the playoffs....
