Just insane. I ended up with Prior on a couple teams just because he fell so far in drafts. Good move so far
The Cubs are lost without Prior and Lee, they need these guys back ASAP.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

God, I hate Dusty Baker. This is all his fault. If it wasn't for Dusty, Prior and Wood would never be injured, and Prior wouldn't have eaten whatever he ate. I can't believe they haven't fired that clown yet.

I was ridiculed for passing on an $8 Mark Prior in my auction keeper. I wanted no part of him after last season. Thank you very much. Man is a walking injury. He, Griffey and Sweeney should get together and see who bruises faster.

jesus I got prior and harden too...at least I'm not alone like I thought...I traded for prior cheap though, so I don't feel all that bad...but seriously the guy's like the plague...everything you hear about him seems to be worse news...hopefully him and harden can turn into the 1-2 punch I hoped for at some point this year

Somebody in my league actually dropped Prior, and I was stupid enough to pick him up.
I've got the Rocket on the bench and the big baby Prior on the DL. Maybe one of them will pan out for me.

If the Cubs are calling this a "minor setback" because Prior has food poisoning, then the reality is he probably ate rat poison and is in a morgue somewhere.

I would have liked to have him back, but since I wasn't really counting on much when I drafted him, I'm not too upset since I have Peavy & Sheets to anchor my rotation. (Although, that hasn't worked out so well either...)
