Does anybody think Crawford is going to turn this season around? He seems to be struggling so far.

Don't worry about Crawford.

His strikeout rate is only very slightly up, his walk rate is phenomenally better (meaning that his obp is up despite a lower batting average), he's stealing bases on a pace for the mid-40's and getting caught less than in the past. The only worry is the power numbers being missing and I think that's just a combination of the wrist and shoulder injuries which should get better with time.

too early to worry now, besides, no one will pay fair market value for him for now, so you are stuck with him no matter what... :-]

He's too young to establish a year to year trend, but last year, he started slow and got better and better each month... sounds like some nagging injuries are the main problem, the good news is, he's walking more, a major sign of improvement for the future. THe more selective he gets, the more pitchers will have to throw him fat ones to try and get him out.

Keep in mind, Tampa has had a lot of injuries so far, so he's been hitting in a weaker order.
