In all seriousness, it's just the inevitable 'correction'. Gomer will be fine, but he might not go on a homer binge like the last one for quite some time, if at all. He should be good for a conservative 30ish HR (with upside for more) but it's unlikely he sniffs .300 as far as batting average is concerned.
Tonight vs the Yanks, and a shaky Randy Johnson. Gomer loves the Yankees, and has had success against RJ and lefties in general. Depending on which Randy shows up, it could be the Gomer show at Tropicana tonight.
Far too soon to begin worrying - as long as you haven't been too spoiled by his early fireworks, you should be happy slotting him in an OF or Util spot and watching the show.
