May 4 The Newark Star-Ledger's M.A. Mehta reports New York Mets 1B Carlos Delgado may get Thursday, May 4, off from the starting lineup. Mets manager Willie Randolph is still weighing his options; if Delgado is left out for the day, 1B Julio Franco would likely take his place. KFFL

If Franco gets a start at the age of 47, that's just plain awesome.
