Anyone else own Washburn? His last couple starts have been AWFUL and he turned in a 27.00 ERA last night. Yikes

He's dangerously close to being dropped. But for now, he'll just rot on my bench for a week or two (occupying the sh*tlist spot previously owned by the now-departed Billy Koch). LOL

LOL!
In one of my keeper leagues I'm out of it and thinking of the future-- what are your thoughts about this guy in the future? I'm thinking of offering Lima or Trachsel for him now and letting the other owner ride out this season with the hotter hand.
Think Washburn is a better longer-term pick than those guys?

I dropped Washburn yesterday for Marte in the league that I owned him. Can't stand his batting practice stats on my squad, screwing my ERA for the week.

i don't see any reason why he can't turn it around next year. i'm sure you remember last year when he won 13 straight, this year he's having trouble giving up the long ball
he has always given up more than his fair share of homers, but he had good enough stuff to get by each game with only 1 or 2 ER
his stuff ahs been off, maybe mechanical prob, and the balls have been leaving.. if you are out of competetion this year, i'd love to trade lima and get washburn.. u wouldnt keep lima anyway..

I traded washburn away for Odalis Perez. I was a little worried at first but I am starting to think it was a good trade now.
What do yall think?
