It's more Internet help...but

I get these !stupid! "Common Files" folder under my Program Files and it's got crap like Gator software (which I have no idea what it does, but it bugs the %#& out of me).. How on earth do I stop this crap from automatically getting on my computer?! %-6

I just got this "Stop-Sign" virus detector by eAnthology off my computer..that was a big time pain.. And I didn't even do anything! It just automatically came up.. UGH!

Please Help :~(

Why not put up a firewall? Or just delete all your cookies every week.

just delete your cookies regularly, that will solve the problem, hopefully.

Try using the free software "ad-aware" which removes spyware and stuff from your pc. I also use the kerio personal firewall which works pretty fine! And it's free, too!

try using ZoneAlarm. i have it and it works fine. and its free
