thanks for the thoughts on my team...here are some responses
i noted at the top that it is an 8x8 H2H league. Non-keeper.
no one in my league will bite on the "hot" players, especially shelton. and since i'm in boston, we all have seen arroyo pitch a lot, and none of these guys believe he can keep it up.
as far as your team goes...the moves you made between posts vastly improved your team. i was going to say you needed OF help, but you seemed to have taken care of that.
i'm a newbie to fantasy, so don't really know keeper strategy. but, one guy you might keep an eye on is ian kinsler. he should be back in 2 weeks max and IMHO is an upgrade over polanco because of his youth. kinsler, at least when he went on the DL, had just earned the leadoff spot too, and while detroit is hitting well, texas is even better, in a better hitters park.
also, if you are really committed to punting saves, then putz might have value to people in your league. he and soriano are part of a closer by committee thing in seattle, so see if whoever has soriano might be interested in putz as well. maybe putz + rowand/griffey/gonzalez for a mid-upper level SP?
just my 2 cents...i may be an idiot.
