This guy must be a stud because his rookie card is selling for thousands of $$$.

The MLB Players Association limits who you can make major league cards from. I guess the story is they made these, realized the mistake, but some went through and now they're going for a ton on eBay.

Yes. These were released before they were supposed to be, and the release was limited to 100 copies (I think). This, combined with the fact that Gordon is one of the most highly-regarded players in the minors right now means they're going for crazy prices.

I looked on EBay and saw some of MCAB cards for 7 grand and Grady Siezemore card was around 3 K 8-o

Haha. It's funny that I read occasional articles on the internet questioning what position that Gordon will play in the future due to the presence of Teahen, and I think most of them are actually serious and not being in any way sarcastic.

That's because Teahen is a very good defensive third baseman and is still young as well. They'd like to see Teahen develop offensively and have two good young players on the team instead of one by moving Gordon to another position. But if Teahen ends up in the low .200's in average this year (or even after the ASB) that may force the club's hand and have them give up on Teahen and keep Gordon at his natural position.
