A lot of people are excited he's back. Think it's wise to trade him to someone who thinks he's going to do well or is it smarter to hold onto him in the hope that he'll end up hitting well?

Not so sure it's a question of help, but he's an excellent backup player if he ends up hitting well. If he reverts to his old form, he'd even be an excellent starter. Hard one to decide since you always want to be hopeful especially with his extra speedy recovery.

you're not gonna get nayting good back for him right now. you are much better off holding onto a commodity, such as nevin, who has good upside than trading him when he's nearly value-less.
