How hurt is he? He's not playing much lately and it's killing me.

He's day to day with a sore shoulder that is still apparently driving him crazy since the HR Derby. They are apparently going to use him similar to how they've been using Drew, intermittent starts until the shoulder heals, but he won't play every day. You are probably better off benching him and putting someone else in unless you have the time to verify 30 mins before every game whether he's in the lineup or not.

From Roto Times:
Jim Edmonds was out of the lineup again Tuesday with lingering shoulder pain.
Edmonds admitted Tuesday that his discomfort has not eased since he aggravated the condition during the Home Run Derby. The condition grows worse the more Edmonds plays, and he grows aware of it after ''about one swing... I'd probably have to not play for a while (for the shoulder to improve) but I'm not sure that's going to happen,'' he said. Expect Edmonds to be day-to-day for a while, in a manner similar to J.D. Drew.
