3B Who looks good for the second half?
I have Lowell and i'm thinking about trading him while he is still doing really well. Is a 1-for-1 deal with any other 3Bman a good idea?
I'm sticking with Lowell in 3 of my leagues. Never had him in the other two.

I wouldn't deal him 1 for 1 for any 3B. If you want to upgrade other positions, some candidates are Scott Rolen and Aaron Boone, whom have less value than Lowell right now.

i dont know why someone would do a 1-1 deal in the same position. The other person would think the other is worth more. I think Rolen is pretty good but you can get someone else with him, I would think.
Is it an NL-only league?
If it isn't-- I don't know why Chavez doesn't get any love from people anymore. He's a tremendous second half player, historically, and I think he'll do _at least_ as well as Lowell from here on out, hence, Lowell's numbers will look better end of the season, but Chavez may outperform him from this point forward. Similar to Rolen. End numbeers won't look as good, second half numbers (I think) will look better for Chavez.
I'm actually a little disappointed to have to say that-- as I predicted Rolen to be the NL MVP this year (wrong! Pujols anyone?); and Rolen hasn't been as good as I expected in a Cards uniform.
If you were thinking of moving Lowell, Chavez would be my target. I am not thinking of moving Lowell, I have Aramis Ramirez-- and Chavez is _still_ mytarget!
red, i agree with you and just traded away berkman for chavez (needed a 3b desperately) so let's hope we are right and chavez produces like the 2nd-half stud he is!

Funny thing is I drafted Lowell to be my back up 3 bagger to Glaus...and now it is the other way around!!...who'd thunk that at the beginning!!
I had Lowell ranked over Glaus on my personal draft lists. With the addition of Pierre and Ivan Rodriguez, Lowell was all set for this kind of season. I drafted him in 3 of my 5 leagues.
