Jose Reyes: Walkin' machine?

Well, I guess .285 wasn't good enough for Jose. After that torrid streak his average is now .300, and his OBP is a very respectable .356. He's only had 4 walks in his last 21 games which brings the walk rate down a significant margin, but I guess when you can't stop getting hits it's hard to walk. ;D

Jose Reyes is arguably the Mets' MVP. When he goes, we go.

The machine just got an intentional to load the bases. Then the Woodmeister whiffs to end the inning. :-°

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

75 Runs, 41 RBI in the 1st half :-° .838 OPS, .300 AVG, 8 longballs, on 110 hits. We're all so caught up with the Phenom Wright, that Jose's incredible play isn't getting enough press. ;-D

Gary said he's OK. Let's hope he's right.
