Let me just say Math Level 1 was pretty easy...not too too bad but harder than the SAT I math. The US History was very similar to the AP US History test, so I knew a bunch of the stuff. But the Literature was SO HARD I had absolutely no idea what it was saying and honestly, I dont think I broke a 500.

Why did you take Math Level 1

Don't most of the schools that require SAT Subject Tests only accept the Math IIC?

I havent heard that. My guidance counselor reccomended I take the level 1 so I did.

So my sister got a 900... on this past SAT. She's only a Sophomore but no one really knows that that means. Considering the scores up to 2500 or something, i guess that really sucks.

Yeah, its up to 2400 with an added writing section, 900 is not so good

Yeah... don't mean to be a jerk but I'm going to be blatant, 900 is a horrible score, even for a sophomore. It's equivalent to a 600 on the old SAT... have her study more and take it at the end of her junior year. I took it at the beginning of the year and got a 2000 and I know right now I've learned so much more over the year, I think I can get 2100.

How'd you guys do? I got a 710 on Math IIC which I was thrilled about but a 600 on History

I got 630 on the US History. Lit was another story though. I got a 510.

BTW, how were everyone's AP scores?

SAT I math isn't anything close to hard, but somehow I manage to suck at it.

I did worse than expected on US history...pulled in a 570. Ouch.

History is tough to take because unlike math their is so many different ways you can teach it and so many things you can put more emphasis on. It's really just if your teacher covered what was on the test or not.

hey guys, how long did you guys study for the sat? Also when did you start preparing for it, if you don't mind sharing. I'm going to be a junior so thats why im asking...
