CHICAGO RIGHT FIELDER JERMAINE DYE LEFT THE GAME IN THE FIFTH INNING WITH A SORE LEFT CALF.

Anyone know anything about this?

Everyone on my team is going down.

Ken Griffey Jr.

And then I can never be too sure about Barry.

I have Dye and CC too. At least Sabathia is coming back this week to a two start week. Hopefully JD just misses a game or two, I haven't heard anything.

The Yahoo box score should be up within 10 minutes or so. Just keep an eye on the game preview.

Fudge, he's out tonight. I've got no replacement.

Dye??

Postby uostrodawg » Tue May 02, 2006 1:55 pm

He started today, but was Pinch hit for during his second at bat. This guy is killing my line-up too. I starting him and he walked his first time up but then was replaced.
You know we just don't recognize the most significant moments of our lives while they're happening. Back then I thought, well, there'll be other days. I didn't realize that that was the only day. -Field of Dreams

From today on Rotoworld:

Jermaine Dye left Tuesday's game in the third inning after aggravating his left calf injury.
Rob Mackowiak replaced him in right field. It might be nearly DL time for Dye, who has been troubled by the calf since the first week of the season.

LOL. I am in the same boat. If Dye goes on the DL hopefully he can come back at 100% and this does not linger on. I need his bat in my lineup.

Agreed. A trip to the 15 day DL will allow us to grab a contingency OF plus it will allow Dye to come back 100% so that he can do his thing.

0-0 with a BB is not helpful from an outfielder. If it becomes a pattern it'll be worse.
