If healthy, here are his projections:

(avg/hr/sb)

Baldelli 2006
.280/15/25

Baldelli 2007
.282/25/35

Baldelli 2008
.545/71/89 (maybe even 90 sb!)

I would temper my expectations for when he does return. Given the type of injuries, rust, and his relative inexperience....I see a fringe mix leaguer at best if he can stay healthy.

Besides this, he has no talent.

How can you tell? He closest he has gotten to a baseball field is sitting in the stands over the last year.

if he is on your roster, you should be hoping he is a nice 4th OF and maybe he does well enough to be an everyday guy later in the year.

I own him. I like his upside, considering he is only costing me a DL spot.

pondering a pick-up, but it would be nice to know his scheduled return.

no updates? he would seem like a nice pick-up off the WW if he's due back soon.
